Nice one, Ralph! These are rather elusive and even harder to find in decent condition for a decent price. I finally bit the bullet and bought one back in October. Definitely one of my favorites now.

Found myself in one of those "not sure what I want to do now" stages.....finally decided to work on completing my (circulated) 1934 Federal Reserve Notes - these two are my latest additions.

Nice notes. How far have you got to go to complete the set of circulated notes?

Dave - I have a $5. $10. and a $20. on the way (snail mail) and, when they arrive, that will complete my 1934 FRN ($5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $500, $500a, $1,000 and $1,000a). Some of them have letters behind the numbers, but I'm really just interested in the year rather than a particular issue. And, I've only one of each except for the larger denomination bills.
I've been doing the same with the 1928 FRN - still missing the $1,000. for that year to complete - again, only one bill per denomination for the year.....just my way of collecting.

Dave - Failed to mention I also have the $5. through $100. FRN for 1914 - again, just one bill per denomination.

Guys, these three round out my 1934 Federal Reserve Notes. I'm pleased to complete the set, but not quite so pleased with the quality of the $5. and the $20. - got them from a friend for face, so I guess I shouldn't bee too unhappy, but I think I'll shop around for something a little cleaner.

That is certainly beautiful artwork - it reminds me of some of the old artwork on early stock certificates (of which I have a few from USA)

I felt kind of sorry for this note and lacking a $5 Confederate bill in my collection I decided to buy it for a fair price.
