Quick question. I came across two 1985 20 dollar bills. I'm not sure if they are worth anything other than forty bucks haha IMG_1310.jpg

Some of you may recall, in a recent post I said I was lacking this bill to complete my 1928 FRN set....well, here it is! I've been adding to my little set aside (when I can afford to) toward the purchase of one, but good fortune and (my big) family intervened.....rather than buying individual gifts that may or may not have been put to use, they all pooled their funds, and bought me this $1,000. FRN for Christmas. Ain't that a hoot? Radar note to boot!

Thank you Dave L, Yes I will try to get bills from every State. My next target is a North Dakota bill. At the moment I have Nationals from Alabama, Louisiana, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Ohio, Pennsylvania, California, Indiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Maine, Missouri, Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois, Minnesota and a nice Delaware bill. My favorites are from Delaware and from Nebraska. I do not know why. I never saw Delaware or Nebraska. Perhaps I like them notably because this two countries are particularly unknown in Europe. One day I want to see all the States and Towns of which I have bills. For Example Leigh in Nebraska, Lynchburg in Virginia, Harlan in Kentucky, Dover in Delaware or Greensboro in North Carolina. Perhaps my dreams come true, one day.

Picked up some $2 bills at my bank today. Most are common, but one got my attention although it is probably only worth $2. It will go in my small note collection anyway. It has a center fold and the portrait is a little worn: its from series 2003A with SN# B 00160028 A

That would be a great trip, indeed. Best of luck!
