Yeah I really didn't think the ink stain part of it was a big deal, just there. I know it is hard to tell from the picture but in person it is definitely not a stain, it is ink and it is also in the same pattern as the bills. Looks exactly like another note with fresh ink was placed on top of it, what it looks like.

Wheat - you make a good point on the strap mark/stain possibility on the $10 FRN.

Nice note techwriter! Two new additions to my LGS sets: A $100 1934 LGS New York, only in 63 EPQ, but acceptable I think. And a $50 1934 LGS Cleveland, a tougher district and for a 63 in great shape.

tech - nice pick-up. Some of the $100 and $50 stars from the 1950 A-D series are great values today, especially in TPG 65PQ. amrys - you have us all drooling, well done!

Just upgraded my type set with this note (FR 57). It is quite common, but more difficult in higher grades because of this issue's extremely tight obverse margins, which leave almost no room for error.

Nice, Nice Stuff, everyone! I'm liking all the new stuff you're showing off! For me, I've got an obsolete 1 dollar that I got in the mail yesterday.

Picked these at a coin show (gotta love 'em) today and the prices were just too low to say no. == BP = 241 ==

This is not really a new purchase but I did just get it back from PMG. I received this note from a bank after cashing a check 10-15 years ago. So for face value and a grading fee I don't think it's too bad.
