My coin collection is getting bigger every day and I have some very great looking coin. And I took a coin collection to a store deal with PCGS and NGS. They said your coin collection is not worth a lot. They also said the good coin I have not worth grading. So the question is should I trust them or should get them graded and see what happen.
Thank for you for the info.

I would say that none of the coins stand out on your list as rare. The only way I would submit any of these would be if they were absolutely pristine. If any of them have seen any circulation you would waste your time and money to send them in for grading. I suggest you spend the money you would have on grading to adding to your collection.

About the same thing I'd say. Nice start but don't waste money on grading and slabbing now.

To be perfectly honest, four of the ten you listed are essentially pocket change(1976 50c, 1970 10c, 1959 5c, and 1960 5c) and the 2003 Kennedys are only worth a few times above face value. Since the cost of slabbing coins can be a fairly expensive proposition(upwards of $30/coin when you include grading fees, order processing charge, and Registered Mail shipment both ways), it is best to only slab coins that are minimally worth at least $100.

I think what it comes down to is all personal opinion honestly. Regardless of what its worth, its entirely up to the collector. I'd honestly prefer to keep them raw and stored in something archival safe, as I have no intention of re-selling the coins I have. If you have plans on selling sometime down the road you have to make sure the cost of slabbing it is really worth the cost of the coin, and how much money you'd get for it as well.
