Colonial notes are highly regarded by some as they were a part of early colonial history. As mentioned above, some of the signers of these notes were patriots of the newly established country. Friedberg catalog has extensive data, listed by state. I have a nice example signed by one of the original signers of the Declaration of Independence. It is graded and authenticated as a NJ-7A and noted as being signed by Francis Hopkinson, original signer of the Declaration of Independence. Beautiful note. I prefer these notes to be certfied and graded - possibility of counterfeit notes is increasing. Good Luck
