I have searched everyone of these Morgans years and mint marks on VAMworld, and have come to some conclusions. Any help would be appreciated. I cant find anything at all to match this 79-O. It has some attributes, but not enough etc... Any thoughts? And the 86-P.. I'm thinking maybe VAM 1A, except even with magnification I cannot verify doubling of the ear. There's definitely a line in 6 though. The 87-S has also been troublesome, I'm thinking maybe VAM 2? VAM'ing is quickly becoming a separate hobby on its own. tatt2ed13 Pillar of the Community United States 557 Posts	Posted 03/20/2012 7:59 pm Hey brother , Just alil thing I think may help others help you (since I cant truely pick out your VAM) One thing that may help me out and others , if when taking photos of the date , try to incorporate the Neck VEE into the photos left hand side .. ive done alota diggin on the photo side of things .. just been poking around and getting some time with my cam (if you wana let me know what you think I made a few new posts with the new photo technique) just an idea to keep in your mem banks for the big guns to be able to pinpoint you alil easier (well pin down which date position anyways :) ) ill be keepin an eye on this thread , curious what this ends up being .. \m/ phil \m/ Report this Post to the Staff

Just curious if by chance you could take photos including the NECK Vee so I can narrow down the Date position .. And maybe a clearer photo of the MM so I can also match that up (so many variables with the MM that I cant make out the true form/shape may laptops screen isn't any help ) Im still poking around on your 1886 and 1887 coins also , I'm at a stand still on the 79 without some other photos bro ... TonedMo87 Valued Member United States 132 Posts	Posted 03/21/2012 10:34 am Yeah its been tough, I've actually kind of given up on finding the exact VAMs. I dont plan on selling anything in my collection, so its not very necessary for me to spend 10+ hours in a day researching the VAM. No worries or rush , when you can .. since I got mine all attributed (except the last listing I made which is being sent in to get looked over by mr.van allen) I got nothing but time here brother , recooping from some surgery I had done about two weeks ago so next 5-6 months this is what ill be doing haha ..
