Bought this last year at a store called The Singapore Mint in Singapore, I paid about USD16 for it.

Catalog number, approximate value and additional info appreciated

Sort of envelope the coin set came in

I don't think anybody's going to have the catalog number of this particular set any time soon, Krause is not in a hurry for such "insignificant" countries as Singapore.

The answer to one of your questions can be found in the set's packaging. What you have is the official 2011 mint set of circulating Singapore coinage as produced by the Singapore Mint (SM) under the authority of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. These sets are issued annually by the SM just like the uncirculated/mint sets from the US Mint and Royal Canadian Mint. The store you bought it from was likely one of the Singapore Mint's outlets. If it's the museum/store located in a shopping district above a restaurant -- I bought the same set while I was there last year!

As far as value goes, in the US and Canada, it is likely worth less than the $16 you paid for it due to the low local demand. These types of sets rarely show big increases in value. Hopefully, you'll get your "value" out of it by keeping it as a souvenir of your time in Singapore.

hi, not that fast. 2012 world coin book lastest date around 2007-2008, few 2009/2010 for rare coins/coin sets. and honestly I think it worth below $16, I think I saw some listed on ebay earlier sold for $9.99 include postage.

The Singapore Mint, like many other mints these days, apparently issues several different kinds of sets in different wrappers. This set identifies itself as the "Hongbao Pack". "Hongbao", translated red envelope, is a traditional Chinese wrapping for New Year gifts, especially gifts of money and coins to children. 2011 was a "Year of the Rabbit", hence all the rabbits all over the packaging.

Some might want to pay more for the 5 dollar coin because it's only issued in the mint set otherwise it's pretty much worth what you paid for.
