Got this beauty...

But how will the verdigris affect the value? I bet it will, but how much? and I assume there's no good way to get rid of it...

A newbie in the US coin djungle, so all info I can get a hold of is useful...thanks

Some collectors do steer away from verdigris but since I am not a collector of this series I can't say monetarily how much it affects this particular piece.

Just an idea, search for Verdi Care on the forums and read up on BradThad's Verdi Care and give it a try if you'd like. I have had good to excellent results on several coins with verdigris. I do believe that some coins can be conserved carefully without affecting value.
