Curses, It looks like I'll have to go and get some 50c and get back to noodling again if I want one of these, and naturally I do want one! Well done Squire!

Found my first 2010 50 cent upset error today. 30 degree rotation. I had to look 2 or 3 times just to make sure my tired eyes weren't playing a cruel trick on me.

Well done, you interested in selling it? I love upsets. How long were you searching for it for? Roughly coins/dollars counted.

Hi Goatieman, I'd have a guess at around $6000 worth of 50 cent coins to find this one. This one may be a keeper but will let you know if I decide to sell.

Congratulations No6.
I was wondering how many of these were made? I would be thinking only a few, as I'm sure they have a small run and check them as the machine starts to spit them out.

I have certainly kept a careful eye on the 50 cent coins since my earlier find. I have gone through about $100 of 50 cent coins per week since. But alas, no second 2010 50 cent "twist top" . Squire

Nice catch! I did not even think about using a mirror to demonstrate the rotated die before.

Hey Goatieman , I was thinking about calling myself "The Coinaniser" ( as opposed to womaniser) as I am enjoy the thrill of the hunt and once I have have made my conquest I move onto the next coin. However I thought that name may not go down well with some of the ladies.
