Hey all, was just looking through my pennies and I found this 1969-s penny. Is this worth anything? I just remember reading something about 1969-s pennies.

A very dramatic and valuable doubled die can be found on the 1969-S but you have a normal coin.

Lincolns with S mint marks are getting harder and harder to find in circulation these days. Even though it doesn't have a numismatic value unless it is a high grade example or the rare double die variety it's still fun to snag one from your pocket change.

Am I the only one that sees a dot inside the S?

Ah, so I'm not the only one with an affinity for the SF mint.

NO, we all saw it but wanted you to be the one getting the credit for that discovery.
Now did you notice all that double line work on the rim? Looks like an attempt to make a second coin there.
And I'm really wondering about that odd shape to Lincoln's Ear. Looks like a toning fork laying on it's side.
