I'm thinking of listing this 1884 half ealge on the forum for sale, but am notoriously bad at grading these things. If anyone could take an guess at a grade and its condition I would greatly appreciate it.

With different angles of lighting, and if you are using diffuse or point source light on a coin,
it is fairly easy to hide or accentuate fine scratches.

So to have a go at grading, I have looked at wear on the high points of the design ONLY, and have ignored other aspects that should contribute to grading.

XF 40.
Rest in Peace
