1891 Indian Head Grading Help - Coin Community Forum

GSR359 New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 03/22/2012 7:11 pm I stumbled across this 1891 Indian Head penny at a local flea market. I am new to coins and hoping to learn more. I was wondering what everyones opinion of this coin is. What grade would you assign to this coin? Is there any evidence of cleaning? Thanks for your help in sharpening my eye! It's pretty dusty, so I wouldn't be certain of a grade, but I think it's probably MS, and fairly nice. Hopefully it's just dusty and that's not corrosion. Report this Post to the Staff
