At least he doesn't have his thumb smack across the middle of the obverse. Holding it by the edges isn't quite so bad. Still, I can see the cleaning hairlines from that photo.

Maybe for a 20C, but that ain't nuthin' compared to some of the "shot-from-orbit" photos I've seen of Morgans on ebay.

The photo of the obverse was really not that bad save for the glare from the flash you could actually see the coin clearly. The reverse photo could have been much better though.

I once saw a listing where the photo was of a flip sitting on a table from about 5 feet away. Asked the seller for a closer picture and he replied "don't have time for that. trust me, the coin is nice". I didn't bid on it.

I would think it would be easier to just lay it down for the photo. It did sell though.

It sold and the buyer actually got a pretty good deal. I think we can agree that the coin absolutely looks like it was cleaned at some point.
