This is my fifth blank quarter planchet! I found four last year in new rolls. This one came out of one of the VLT machines. Someone played it thinking they were getting away with something.

Sweet! Nice find, ikandiggit! I haven't got one of those yet - I'm totally jealous. What's your secret to finding not one but five? I've opened more new rolls than I can count and all I get are paper cuts...lol

I made a deal with the a couple of years ago.

I'm just very lucky, I guess. (Look up my error banknotes...)

WTG diggit, two more and you'll have your own group of seven. I've never seen one of those.

Nice find, quite impressive to find 5! I have only one error coin (25 cents on 1 cent planchet)

I have a couple blank quarters, but I would rather have the 25 cents on a 1 cent planchet

I sold one for $40 to a collector (he bugged me until I gave in) and I gave one away to a YN who is now a very active collector.

I must have found a total of six because I still have four in my vault. I'm just getting old....

I don't know if I want to part with the remaining ones. Not at the moment, anyway. If I change my mind, I'll contact you.

Video Lottery Machine (VLT) aka One armed bandit, Electronic slot machine.

In Manitoba, gaming is run by the government. If you want one of these machines, you have to apply for it and after a background check, security check, criminal check, they may or may not allow you to have one. The restaurant I run has eleven and there are two more coming later this spring.
