Warning: Be careful of this ebay auction for an OBW roll of 1953-S Franklin half dollars.

The seller has listed this item on multiple occasions, trying to snag a 'fish.' I am fairly confident the item will be listed again by the end of the day.

The roll has obviously been opened on one end (it is no longer crimped), the roll paper is torn and taped and then the seller tries to 'explain away' these issues. *The seller may not have opened this roll, but it is not an unopened roll.

In my opinion, when considering the seller's 'Item not as described' feedback and the fact that every coin they sell is a 'private,' auction, this item is not what the seller is describing the item to be...

All brought to you by the fine people at ebay... I mean ebay.

Call in the FBI, and we can find out who left their fingerprints on that coin!

Seriously, this is most likely a scam. But he does have 100% positive feedback...

There are literally hundreds of this sort of auction on eBay--a variation on a very old con game.
