Has anyone attended this coin show? I'm considering going and wondering if it worth the trip. Thanks for your input.

Bit far away for me, I live in Sydney (not Canada).
May go to Long Beach in 2013, I have some folks nearby.

When is it scheduled for? Where is it supposed to be held this time? Odd they didn't send me a flyer for this one. Wonder if they are trying to tell me something. I'm in the Chicago area and go to all the coin shows here. There is usually a coin show in this area on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of every Month. Each in a different place.
I've gone to that International Coin Fair several times in the past and really didn't like it to much. Mostly overpriced for all coins. Not a good place for US coins either. However, if your into foreign coins, fantastic varieties. Some really nice coins to look at but just not in my price range.

Just looked it up and it is once more at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Right accross from the Rosemont Convention Center.
One of the things I've always hated about this one is they charge for parking and charge for admittance. It is scheduled for April 26 to 29, 2012.
And the Martini's at the bar on the first floor were $6 last time I was there.
Anyone going? We could meet at the bar.

Well, here we are. The show begins tomorrow. I plan to attend Friday. It will be my first coin show. I plan mainly to look and learn.

It would be really cool to meet Just Carl. I will be there on Friday.

I went once before. Lots of dealers of world coins. That's where I bought my Mongolian wolverine coin for just $75. I think it's probably worth it if you like world coins and live in the Chicago area.
