I'd hire someone to answer the phone and door. Wouldn't require a college degree, all he'd have to say is "no".

I would buy a monster box of gold maple leaf and mix them with chocolate coins and give away to kids on halloween.

changed "will" to "would"

I own several C-Stores if we sell a lone winner we get a cool million, i'll take that. I bought my lucky number 11 for the drawing tm night. I heard you are more likely to get killed by a vending machine then you are of winning the jackpot.

I'm watching TV and there's Anderson Cooper with the Mega Millions Jackpot on his "Ridiculist".

I guess if I was an heir to the Vanderbilt family fortune, which makes them the 7th richest American family, I could poke fun at people trying to win some money too. :-/

As to what to buy... piles and piles of GOLD coins!

I am the sort of leopard that can't change his spots.
I would give most of the cash to my kids, and continue to search through dealers' junk boxes, still enjoying the thrill of the hunt!

I am financially quite secure, and with that warm fuzzy feeling, and I don't need any more money just now. I'm OK, thanks all the same!

I have done all of the traveling I need to, to all sorts of weird places when I was young & harebrained, now I am older and just having a bit of a laugh.

I don't have dollar ($) signs in front of my eyes, just (C) signs.

A lot of good answers. I think my favourite is biggfredd's though. I'd take that job in a second.

OK, I haven't bought a ticket for like 10 years, so I bought three chances today. So, I lost the ticket already. Just my luck I will win and not be able to find the ticket. Oh well, there's a coin show nearby this weekend. I guess I will go there and drown my sorrows with coins.

One of my friends won $150,000 in a lottery once.
We celebrated with champagne, and I drink on festive occasions only.

Before this particular event, the nearest I had been to champagne wes a near miss by a racing driver at a Formula One victory ceremony!

I will never win it as one has to be in it to win it. But I look at money put towards lottery a huge WASTE, an you will most of the time lose more then you ever bring in. Might as well take those dying dollars, squirt some lighter fluid on them and set them a blaze....

Why waste money on a pipe dream one could be putting toward silver today? My real simply philosphy that will never pay off big, but I will stick to it never the less.....

I spent $5, altogether, on tonight's drawing. As I planned all along, my pact to everyone is this: if I should somehow defy the nearly insurmountable odds and win the jackpot, anyone who dreamed big on this thread will be mailed 100 ASEs or the equivalent in gold. Since the cash payoff is nearly 400 million, I should be able to afford it.

Buying a ticket today. Would probably get all 4 FEC's, and the three types of 1861-O SLH and call it a day. Most of it would be invested or spent on returning to school.
