I wanted to alert the forum that I just received two Morgans from Hungry graded by World Coin Grading. One was a rare date 1890CC the other a common date 1897 coin. BOTH were electroplate copies. Both were graded MS66. Both were rubbed to give a DMPL look. This tells me that A. WCG has no business grading coins. B. that as silver continues to rise in price it is becomming more profitable to fake buyers with less valued coins and C. invest in any type of magnification to aid in your coin identification. Being an electroplate copy the coins were of high 'copy' caliber, museum quality, with the 'electroplate' copy attributes clearly evident under a scope. The Signs are raised ruff surfaces throughout. Harsh polishing marks, slight loss of detail. Under average eye sight grading these coins looked good enough to (re)submit. I'm just glad I caught it before I waisted money on a body bag. So, caution to the wind.
