I was on a members E-bay site and saw a 1oz silver round designed like a Lincoln Wheat cent. I lost to someone sniping me, but I have always loved the wheatbacks, so now could anyone tell me what years they were made and by whom? I need to find out if I will buy just one or try for a whole set.

Looks like they were made by Virgil Marshal, I found 1986-88 on ebay. So it looks like only 3 years.

Hi cpfull

I tried for that Silver Round also !! Several bids and outbids later I did not win it !

Im collecting by date , not all lincolns but whatever design with consecutive dates,, that one would have fit nicely between two other ones !!

Oh well the search goes on !!

Just where to find the Lincoln ones I do not know and have not started a search yet. But I will ,,when I find them I will let you know if you will do the same !!

I would like to have one also !!

I just found a 1991 on ebay as well, so it looks like I have at least 5 years I need to buy. Better get a scanner so I can sell my excess 1921 morgans so I don't have to wait too long.
