I was looking at some Large Cents on ebay, and this one had just under a minute till the end of the auction, so I placed a bid. What do you think it would grade? To be honest, I am not really sure if I paid to much or not. Moved to Canadian grading forum - Sap

Really nice! No scratches or dings. There are slight nicks on the rim on the obverse side. I think MS63-64.
You know where to post it ;)

That's actually the reason I was looking at Large Cent's Apollo. I seen your thread, and was thinking that I should add a few more Large Cent's to my collection. (I don't have very many)

Quote:Good deal is ebay a safe place to buy coins from? Yes, ebay is a great place to buy coins, you just have to be certain of the price, not to bid too high and also to check the shipping. Check the dealers feedback, if he's sold a lot and has about 98%-100%, he should be safe not to lose your stuff in the mail.

People always give ebay a hard time, however I have never really had any problems. I once received a coin that had been cleaned, when I contacted the seller they refunded my money right away, without any problems.

I bought only a few coins off ebay, a 1874 B 2 Francs coins from Switzerland and a lot of coins (7 coins) with a slabbed ancient in it (Claudius II 268-270 Antonianius in VF20).

the donn shop has an easter egg hunt going on now. you have to decode clues from a bunch of auctions and if you figure it out they will let you know the ARPX time they will list a HUGE lot for buy it now for 99 cents.
no mention of any other 99 cent deals but I will be checking through out the day just the same!
NICE penny btw. I wouldnt have thought twice about $8 and I dont even like large pennies!
