Hi guys

Can some explain why the 2005 Toonie on the right is a golden colour, and the 2005 Toonie on the left is normal colour...

even the core looks darker. I've seen coins that are buried even for a short time take some strange tones. same for coins stuck in a oven or subjected to other "science".

not sure though.
