that's bad a%& I really like that I found a 1970 s quarter I got in change and didn't see it till I got home and was mad cause I would have asked the person if there was more in that cash drawer lol

Nice dime!

You could use a black covering overhead, or black side panel(s) and shoot at a slight angle to reduce the glare off the coin.

I tilted this coin slightly towards the black background to minimize the reflectivity of the fields. As you can see the rest of the background is well illuminated (natural light, no, not the beer);

...then again this works for cameos. Now I am going to have to try it with a non-cameo.
