Just one of my VOC coins I think is nice to 'show'..While the VOC went bankruptcy in 1799, there where occasionally coins minted with the VOC monogram till 1841.. This coin from province 'Holland'is minted with an old die which was already prepared with 17 for the date, under the 8 is the top of the 7 good visible..

It makes a lot of sense that dies with "17" would be resused like this.
The 8/7 is very clear too--nice find!
