Look at previous posts to get a general idea of how posts are made. We need exact numbers. And try and post the total remaining after those you spend.

Borrowed $10 in halves to a coworker so he could buy gas for his car. Spent $19 in dollar coins buying fried chicken and potato wedges for everyone at work for lunch Spent $192 in dollar coins paying off my Sears card bill. I got the same cashier as the other days and when he was done we started talking about coins and he asked if they still had P D and S on them so I gave him a little lesson on mint marks and NIFC and the changes in the dollars coins. $61,036.50 to go * corrected total Edited by jack jeckel

Up date for us here in Green country OK.
Gave wife last spendable ikes this morning.
12 coins.
They will be gone tonight.
Hoarding the ones I have now in stock.

Spent $32.50 in halves at Walmart this morning getting some oil and oil filter for my truck and they had 000 Buckshot in stock for my Judge so I bought the 4 boxes they had left. $60,989.50 to go |

Since my last post I spent 3 golden dollars at Wendys, 3 dollars at the grocery store, 2 dollars and 1 half dollar at the Italian store, 2 dollars at Taco Bell, and 2 halves on turnpike vendors. This is 11.50 total.

I did not include in the totals 4 golden dollars that I put in my grandsons piggy bank (since they won't be spent for a long time).  Ok. He's not reading a coin book, but he is only 14 months old. I will give him a little time.  |

I spent a total of $7 in Ikes. I used two to buy a package of Pop Tarts from a food cart, and the cashier (an older lady) asked if they were sandwich coins. I told her yes, and said I have yet to find a silver dollar in circulation, and that I would never let any silver coin slip back into circulation once I found it.
Then, I spent the other five to pay for admission into a skating rink; the cashier they looked cool.
