He ran out of both the halves and quarters.  But it was the last day of the traveling sale so it was jsut less he had to count change for to take back. $30 halves: office supplies, lawn tools, milk (milk prices are getting silly. if the cows want a raise, I think they should get a job transfer to hamburger!) $54,221 to go |

First I saw this thread. I, too, try to spend halves. I leave them as tips sometimes. Just trying to get them in circulation again.
