We should make another topic about spending $2 bills. I try do it as often as possible, and the cashiers are always so happy to receive them! (if they know what they are, lol).

$2 Ikes and $1 Sac at the LCS the other day (used in conjunction with a trade-in of some junk silver) toward the purchase of--among other things--2 Ikes and a Sac!

And $1 SAC for a soda at a church dinner.

$48,966 left to go.

hcmusicguy you subtracted from the wrong total. That would make it 48937.50 to go.

And I didn't realize that I have not posted to this thread in almost 4 weeks! It took me a while to catch up. Fuzzy, I found an entry on page 183 that you posted right after someone else and added $4 instead of subtracting $16. This would make the total 48917.50 to go.

I have definitely been slacking lately. Since my last post (I still keep track):
3 golden dollars and 1 Kennedy at coin club meeting
5 goldens and 5 Kennedys at club for drinks and tips
1 golden and 2 Kennedys at bowling
3 goldens for Easter candy
1 Kennedy half at grocery store
4 goldens and 2 Kennedys at Italian store
5 goldens and 1 Kennedy at Rite Aid for snacks
4 golden dollars to my daughter-in-law to buy milk (I think she kept a couple)
---------------------------
$31 total

$48886.50 to go
