My-Latest-Oddity
Came across this. It apparently is a copy of the US Turban Head Large Eagle half eagle.

The obverse has a good rendition of the Turban Liberty Head but no trace of stars or LIBERTY. It looks like the date ends in 7, so must be 1797 or 1807. The reverse is pretty much gone. You can see the clouds over the eagle and just make out part of his wings. I think there is an E at the top.

This jewel measures 25.0mm in diameter, is thin at only 1.2mm and weighs 5.70 grams. The color in the picture is pretty much what it looks like.

I've seen German Spielemarkes of US gold coins before but they usually are smaller in diameter and reflect the Liberty Head coinage of the mid to late 1800s.

Anyone ever see anything like this before?

Thanks in advance

At first glance I thought it was my ex when she boarded her broom on her final flight to freedom ☺☺☺.
Seriously, I don't know what it is you have, but I had taken the liberty to save your photos on my laptop and see if I can match them in my "Standard Catalog of United States Tokens - 1700-1900" By; Russell Rulau ...
Will advise if I find a match...

There is nothing even close to this piece in the "Early American Tokens" catalog section, and all issued coins (USA & Foreign) of that time period had been counterpunched by multiple merchants, thus changing this from a monitary piece to a advertisment peice listed in the "Token" section...
Maybe it could be some type on European Condor Token, or just a really worn coin...

Thanks fot searching. The color is copper colored and I don't think gold would ever discolor to that degree. I was suprised to see the weight was as much as it is. Perhaps it is a period counterfeit $5 that was gold plated but if that's the case this is about the most circulated gold coin I have ever seen!
