I like roll hunting pennies I usually get a box for 25.00 and I always find wheat pennies and lots of copper just when you go to the bank let them know you want customer rolls better chance of finding something good.

You will have the best luck finding silver with half dollars. Bicentennial coins are not anything special when found roll hunting. I roll search cents and have a great time doing it and have found a few nice coins.

Ounce per ounce, I have great luck with dimes. For instance, I only find 1-40% half per 2 boxes...dimes on the other hand produce roughly 1 per $100, or the equivelent of 1-90% half per box of halves. Finds may vary in your area.

agreed with fistfull

i also average about 1silver dime per/$100 searched... mainly customer wrapped rolls. (CWR)

i also find pennies and dimes rewarding when I dont find any silver dimes...

usually you get at least 7-10 wheat pennies per/$25 searched.. results vary with location...also pull the pre82 cents for copper bullion...

nickles, look for war nicks.. 42-45, mint mark above the MONTICELLO on the rev

also recommend being honest with the tellers.. as much as I feel embarrassed and guilty for coin roll hunting, 9 times out of ten the tellers HELP out and can sometimes save you goodies! its happened to me a few times. I hope you can find a nice teller.. and oh yea, there will be mean tellers...
