Here is a 2004 penny with a dot next to the date. Do these coins have any value?

A variety of these sorts of things are listed on ebay....coins with extra metal etc. I like the look of this one...much better looking than most. Hard to say what the value is though. I would guess you might get a few dollars for it on ebay if you were patient...maybe more if you are lucky.

Hi folcan

Nice coin! I myself like these "dot" coins, especially if the dot is of a good size and placement like yours. I have to agree with Smallcentguy, if the dot is attractive, then it can get a few bucks or more on ebay. I've seen a few of them go for larger money than I would've expected; depends on who's looking at the time.

I've got several nickels with dots but attributed them to minor die chips or plating bubbles. The pennies are usually bubbles in the plating.
