Definitely a $1/10c mule, congrats ! Seems to be in a good grade with a few minor scratches. I will say this is worth about $500-$800 in this condition.

Yep definitely a mule, just not centred very well, very nice though.
If you are selling it Sally,i hope it goes well for you.

Actually I just went back for another look & I think that coin is uncirculated or very close to uncirculated so you should get way more than $500 for it,if it is UNC or close to UNC & it were mine I would be wanting to get at least $1500 for it.

Thanks for the interest in the coin but I think if I do sell it I will do it locally sorry for getting your hopes up.

Sally-coin.
Don't be tempted to sell. hang on to this coin and it will be far more valuable in time, just my opinion

Trout1105...could you tell me pls how this coin can be identified as a mule...without seeing the edges or the other side....what makes it different to say...broadstrike or just a misstrike?

Either of these faults with the coin would not leave a clear impression of the Monarchs bust.
The double rim and a clean strike 99.99% of the time equates to a mule
