Definitely a $1/10c mule, congrats ! Seems to be in a good grade with a few minor scratches. I will say this is worth about $500-$800 in this condition.

Yep definitely a mule,just not centred very well,very nice though. If you are selling it Sally,i hope it goes well for you.
Actually I just went back for another look & I think that coin is uncirculated or very close to uncirculated so you should get way more than $500 for it,if it is UNC or close to UNC & it were mine I would be wanting to get at least $1500 for it.

Just wondering , from the pic , why this could not be a broadstrike without seeing the other side ? Can someone enlighten me please? Still learning here

Trout1105...could you tell me pls how this coin can be identified as a mule...without seeing the edges or the other side....what makes it different to say...broadstrike or just a misstrike?

Either of these faults with the coin would not leave a clear impression of the Monarchs bust. The double rim and a clean strike 99.99% of the time equates to a mule
