I have come across, what I believe to be, a "Kennedy Type" half dollar that has no head side and therefor no date. Both sides of the coin are the "Eagle" reverse side. It has the same weight and apparent metal content of a normal half dollar and looks otherwise identicle (in every small detail) to the real thing.

Does anyone know where it came from?

I can send a photograph if needed.

Welcome to Coin Community !!!

It would be very helpful if you would post photos of the coin, both sides, but especially the edges on this one.

It's a novelty coin made my cutting two halves apart and putting the two tails sides together. If you look closely, you can see a little groove around the rim on one of the sides where the second coin was fit into the first. I have a two tailed quarter like this.
