Both are drier coins and as the seller has 2 of these I am assuming that they were created for ebay
Looks like another ebay username on the list of shame

Maybe this ebay seller didn't know they were fake? I joined this forum last night to hopefully find out about a few coins I have and learn more in general, but up until joining last night, I had no idea people were purposefully damaging coins etc. Had I not found out about this being a common thing, I could have easily made the same mistake putting a coin I have on ebay but with absolutely no intention of ripping anyone off. My coin is an Aussie five cent coin that (up until now) I thought had been issued on an overseas planchet as it is the same size, but thinner and a different metal. Once I know how to photograph coins better I'll post it here to get everyone's feedback.

So how do they make those coins? I'm assuming they don't shrink in the wash?

They look almost like they are counterfeits that came out wrong

The 10 cent looks to me to have been stood on it's edge & tapped all the way round,to make the coin smaller & deepen the rims, someone got ripped off for $43 on it in any case.

The edges are compression rolled. Probably gets the term from dimes that were caught in the slot in laundromats.
