Now as I read, PCGS and NGC are the most reliable right? But what about all the other companies? I really don't want to get ripped off. Thanks a lot

IMHO, In order of reputation: PCGS NGC ANACS. Avoid the rest and you will be o.k. If you take the time to learn how to grade then you can "buy the coin and not the holder" and never get ripped off.

One of the best places to learn how to grade is right here in the CCF!

It is interactive, 'hands on'.

Just "Give it a go!"

Try your own developing grading skills against other people's developing grading skills.

I won't grade above MS63 from the screen. I need a 10x loupe with the coin in hand for that.

Had some PF Silver Eagles graded by ANACS a few years ago, 8 to be exact, as PF 69's. Recently sent them to NGC for re-grading. Wanted my collection to be NGC consistant. Felt that some could possibly be a higher grade. Received them back with 4 of them graded PF 70 and the other 4 remaining PF 69
