biggfredd Rest in Peace United States 9104 Posts	Posted 04/15/2012 2:30 pm I have a customer who showed me a medal. I found one similar, listed as Quote: 1837-1887 Queen Victoria 50th Jubilee Canada Medal - Extra Large http://www.ebay.com/itm/270942689456 It's 45 mm, and copper, compared to this white metal listing. It has obvious wear on the high spots, light copper pitting and a couple little areas of I think bronze rot. Otherwise, it's a nice even dark brown. Any further information, like they only made three in copper/bronze, would be appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

Peter THOMAS Pillar of the Community Australia 2830 Posts	Posted 04/15/2012 8:10 pm there were medallions struck all over the Empire to mark Victoria's 50th & 60th anniversaries. If you wanted to get "the whole set" just for Australia, you'd be looking at more than 200 - almost every municipality issued them.
