My first coin of this emperor. Not too much detail left but legends are there and is a decent enough example of him for my collection.

A nice coin, with some very light cleaning you should be able to bring out more of the detail.

Yep, a nice coin, Valiant! Valerian in nice shape is always good to have. Though I agree with echizento in theory, I'd still be cautious with the cleaning. A lot of those billion coins didn't have a lot of silver content, so they don't really have a chance to come up too bright. Myself, I wouldn't clean it at all, but if you do, a little olive oil and a soft toothbrush is all you need.

The mediocre lighting makes it seem a little dirty, but it is already cleaned down to the bare surface in most places. The coin is greyer in hand. Thanks for your comments!

This coin doesn't look bad at all. With all the cleaning I've done with some of my coins I kind of actually prefer them to have "real" look to them instead of a cleaned up coin. It helps to clean up a coin sometimes but this has everything you need to see like the legend already legible. Another Nice buy ValiantKnight.
