Still working with the new camera. Images here are of my 1884 CC Morgan. Will provide details on her after these are up.

Nice one! It would look so much better in a TOP III Third Party slab, IMO.

Haha, yes an authentic 3rd party slab would be nice... right now, I just want to keep her out of the 'elements'. I am planning on either PCGS or NGC slabbing her in near future. Need to do homework in finding the correct route to follow for that aspect.

Coin above is my only second CC of my Morgans. It was gifted to me about 3-4 years ago. The fella whom gifted it to me use to work at a gold shop and when retired, sold almost all his stock to us. As a parting gift, he gave the coin to me and told me to keep it safe. Coin passed magnet test, weighs perfect and has correct medal alignment. :)

Nice coin! It brings me back to the first Mint State CC Morgan I owned, which was also an '84! Good thing you have it in a nice plastic holder, so many times I see people with nice coins in the cardboard flips and I just cringe.

Good looking coin, make sure the black material surrounding the coin is safe. Some of the foam can tone the coin.

Cjtm - I'm not of fan of using cardboard flips either. When I first started in this hobby years ago I always used them.. and learned that doing so can cause damage, and.. later just thought it appeared to tacky IMO.

I know most people judge by looking at the obverse, but I love the Eagles breast. The feathers on this coin look beautiful.
