First post here so please be understanding if I miss any important details.

I'm a coin guy, but yesterday I picked up some US money from my bank, fresh uncirculated bills. Being in Canada any US money you order at the bank is usually still wrappered. Anyway the first two bills are star notes, which I know nothing about. Here's the details

$100
KB00126023*
B2
SERIES 2006 A

and

$100
KB00126024*
B2
SERIES 2006 A

From my google research I have concluded that there was only one star note run of this series and there was 320,000 printed.

Are these worth any more than $100? Should I hold on to them?

to CCF. Being crisp and a lower run and if you can afford to hang on to them then I would. As for the serial number just so you know it is not a low one. Most collectors consider a low SN to start with four zeros.

Very impressive to find them. They are definitely worth more than face value. Not sure of an exact value, since they aren't available on ebay to see what dealers are selling them for. Definitely hold on to them.

If you want to sell them, please post it in the sell forum and let me know. Thanks!
