I have a pair of DA96 $50's and the funny thing is, one has an even so thin gap, where you indicated and the other has no gap...despite them being a consecutive pair. ?!!?!! I am a nootler, so I've seen quite a decent amount. I haven't kept any becuase of the fact, that none are relevant. BankNoteLover; Consecutive note serials are actually printed on different sheets (e.g 135421, 135422). Consecutive prefix serials are printed on the same sheet (e.g AA, AB).
