Hi guys

Can anyone tell me if it is not uncommon to have the dot missing between the K and the G on this penny...?

The penny looks pretty beat up and looking at the denticles, looks like a weak strike, short of seeing the whole coin.
---Looks like it's there, just faint.
---Due your handy dandy program analysis.

Hi Wert. That penny is in rough shape, and as commoncents mentions, it does seem the dot is faintly there.
Rest in Peace

--wert--Your quote!
"The question is more important than the answer"
---So IMO again the answer, to your question! and the missing Dot.
--I looked at about 12 that I have of them and they all look weak so probably my best guess, Die Deterioration.
---Again look at the denticles they are hardly there and its worn. Maybe a 'G' or 'VG', 'F' at best.
---I appreciate your enthusiasm but, if it were in better shape a might agree.
