On TV right now is a 223 gem BU set. 2 payments of 99.95 plus SH. Is this set worth it?

All State Quarters, limited editions, plus the limited edition American Beautiful album, with quarters for the future frequented to you.

Anyone, what you guys think?

You reported count of 223 coins is confusing to me. The State Quarters only had 55 issues (including territories) so if you had "p", "d", "s" uncirculated, and "s" silver you would have 220 coins (55 coins x 4 mintages). The America the Beautiful coins (using the same mint marks) have to date issued 54 coins.

So what is this company selling? For what I've listed $200 sounds like an unbelievable deal. You know what they say about deals to good to be true. The 55 silver coins for the statehood series is going for about $6 each at my local coin shop let alone the 165 other coins for the series. Then add in the albums along with the currently issued coins from the America the Beautiful series.

Something appears to be left out or not all coins for the series are included.

Can you clarify your opening posting or is my understanding not right?

[edit] Leaving out the silver coins alread issued would reduce the coin count to 204 for both series.

NO. You won't get the silver coins, CSN coin deals are NOT deals.

They constantly 'rave' about the limited editions - uh, go check the mintages. Check your pocket change. You can buy BU sets of these for FAR less. Try the Bay, or your local coin shop.

The display cases they offer are nice......but really, that is about it.

Need to clarify the OP. Is this just the State Quarters or is this supposed to be the state and ATB Quarters? OK all Gem BU that tells me the clad and silver proofs are not included, just the base metal circulation strikes. The 223 coin figure has to off. It should either be 222 or 224. 56 State Quarters times two (50 states and 6 territories) and either 55 or 56 ATB Quarters times 2 (50 state, 5 territories. I don't know if they would do one for DC or not.) But if it is 224 you have $56 face value, unslabbed worth probably at most $112 and one album worth between $3 and $20. Probably closer to the low end. So call it $120 value for $200. And do you have to pay shipping on those future quarter shipments? If so it gets even worse.

As The Duke said, anything coins sold on TV is bad. Typically from 100 to 400% higher than you can buy them from dealers.

Ok, I finally saw the infomerical. They want $99.99 x2 for 224 (1 P and 1 D of each) State, Territorial and ATB Quarters. It includes two albums. Of course there is shipping/handling for each album, not sure what that is.

They guy went on to explain how the Georgia-P is worth 30x face value, and the initial releases of ATB have lower mintages, so therefore they will be worth $$$$$.

They showed some close-ups of some coins and they looked horrible. Bag marks, nicks, etc. I can't believe they didn't put out some better coins than that. Each coin they showed looked pretty average. With all that being said, I'm sure my Mom ordered me one cause I like coins.
