Big mistake. So many new coins to spend my money on . Lot of great stuff in there, and it should keep me busy for the foreseeable future Also to those that have it, what does "N.I.I" stand for? I can't find a list of terms used in it, but I'm leaning towards something like 'not issued individually' or some variation of that.

That book should come with a HUGE warning label.... and I think you have N.I.I. right - not issued individually.

Would this be a good book for a novice Canadian coin collector to have.
Most of the Canada coins I purchase, are ones I pick from what shops here call foriegn silver boxes. It would be nice to have a good guide to better cherry pick coins.
And is there a good site that would ship to the U.S.A.

Yes GR58, you would want to get the numismatic edition, which I don't have yet, but if you are at all into Canadian NCLT I highly recommend picking up the collectors issue. It lists every issue up into the year it was printed, so I'm learning quite a bit.

I lost this link for a couple days .. not sure why it didn't come on my post list ..
Thank you all for responding to my question ..
It sounds like a should get both volume one and the collector edition
I will check that last link and see if shipping to Florida is not to bad
A thought just popped into my head .. at the end of May .. I will be driving from Alaska to Michigan .. Is there any "must stop" coin shops along the route .. I know there are several ways to go .. I do know I will be going through Whitehorse, Fort Nelson and Dawson Creek. I have not planned the southern route yet ..

I don't think the shipping would be too bad. The deal on the books is pretty good though, so I hope the shipping costs doesn't kill it.
Not too sure about coin shops in the area though, hopefully someone can help you out!

Hi GR58, I think I would go through Alberta, try Edmonton and Calgary as there are not to many coin shops in northern BC. Way way off topic but I work up that way a lot and if you want a "must stop" try liard river hot springs. No coins but a beautiful place to realx. Its between Watson Lake and Ft Nelson. Sorry to hijack the thread.
