Hey all.
I don't think this is a challenge coin, probably some sort of commemorative, but I wonder how old it is.
Had to be made after the war, but in searching the net and in some books by some others, we can't find any info on this particular one at all.
Huge as a Morgan silver dollar, 32.3 grams and very thick and heavy.
Thanks for any help on this.

One side of this medallion has a detail from a famous photo of V-J day in Time's Square, taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt. Overall, I'd say the style is late 1960s-70s.
