I don't know who they are,let alone what they call it.15° or 15% I dunno. I call it "Downhill Cat",a slight rotation like this is quite common in '67 quarters.

I have two of those, they're very cool but surprisingly common among 1967's

I have a whole tube of the 67 quarter I've gathered from circulation and I can say without a doubt that having a slight rotation like yours is very common. it is the larger rotations that will fetch more ( I have one thats rotated about 50 degrees )

Yes, about 25% of the last batch of 30 I went through were rotated like this. Haven't seen one with greater rotation like Imohtep's though.

I was researching a bunch of coins I recently acquired from an estate collection, which directed me to this great site (which, I've now become a member of). In the collection there were 15 cougar quarters, 3 of which are of a slightly rotated die variety (as outlined in this thread). Is there any particular reason as to why some of them are rotated? Is there any known or potential link between these slightly rotated varieties relative to the coins' silver composition (ie. one variety containing .500 vs another variety containing .800)?
