echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 04/22/2012 2:09 pm to the community It is a late Roman and was appears to be the emperor Constans, 337-350 AD, you can just make out the legend of DN CONSTANS PF AVG on the obverse. One the reverse is is GLORIA EXERCITVS the mint mark SMK ?. minted in Cyzicus. The reverse depict two soldiers with a standard between them. Much appreciated! jwharper, I find that to be rather exciting yet a bit saddening as I have spent most of my life collecting the GB stuff only for my attention to be focused entirely on the ancients now..
