Easiest thing to do is make up a set of measuring tools out of 2X2's, one for each coin size. Find the centers of each side and draw lines across connecting them. This gives you 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees. Next draw lines connecting the opposite corners. Those establish the 45, 135, 225, and 315 degree points. Put a mark halfway between each of those lines and you have marks indicating roughly every 22 degrees. Marks half way between those gives you every 10 degrees. If you want more precision a mark between each of those will be every 5 degrees. Do this to one side and just a center line on the other side.
Now all you have to do put the coin in the 2X2 so the obv is centered upright with the one center line. Fold the 2X2 Down to hold the coin without letting it move and turn it over to read the rotation directly. from the marks.
