mberteig: The denticles are the 'bumps' around the rim of the coin. A to Denticle refers to the fact that the 2nd A in the word Gratia on the obverse points directly to a denticle instead of slightly off to the side. These are commonly recognized as the two major variants of the 1949 1 cent (and others). Frequently 1 variant is significantly rarer and hence more valuable as in this case. As commoncents13 says, it does look a little off to the left but I'm not sure if it's far enough to make it off Denticle. My 2 cents worth :-)
