2005 Kansas State Quarter, "nsas" Error?

HiderSeeker New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 04/22/2012 10:37 pm Hi, recently I came across a 2005 Kansas State Quarter that was in a collection that I inherited from my grandfather. He would go to the bank every time a new quarter was scheduled to come out and get some, so they don't have any wear on them - but this certain one has what I believe to be an error on it. On the back side of the quarter where the bison is, instead of "KANSAS" on the top it only says, "NSAS". I don't have access to a camera that can take a picture well focused in on something that small yet but when I do I will take a picture and post it on here. But the picture isn't really needed since that is the only thing that is wrong with it. And also, what would something like that be valued? Thank you so much! I can definitely see some wear to the coin now, so I don't think it would be considered uncirculated, but you can clearly see the "NSAS". Report this Post to the Staff
