Announcing: 49th annual ARK-LA-TEX COIN, STAMP & CARD EXPOSITION.

When: Sat. July 28, 2012 9 am-6pm & Sun July 29, 2012 9 am- 3 pm
Where: Bossier Civic Center 620 Benton Rd, Bossier City , LA

Details: In its 49th year, this show features mostly coin dealers from the ARK-LA-TEX region and some from beyond. Features bullion to high-end certified coins to complete sets to foreign coins to starter coins to paper money to exonumia and much, much more. The show typically sells out of tables, and has roughly 70-75 tables per show. Numerous displays are also at the show, including a gorgeous collection of rainbow-toned Morgan silver dollars and unusual stamps and other items.

The show is open and free to the public, children get a free coin at the door, there are hourly door prizes, and raffle tickets for a chance to win a 1/2 ounce Gold Eagle and other prizes.

The event is sponsored by the Shreveport Coin Club (a 501(c)3(b) non-profit organization) and the show is well-known for its southern hospitality to dealers and public alike.

This show is coming up in just 3 weeks, so mark your calendars. It appears the show will sell out of tables again this year. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 75-80 tables of dealers (mostly coins, but some baseball cards and stamps) are expected.

This year we are giving away a free world coin to all children 16 or younger. We also do hourly door prizes and have raffle tickets for a chance to win 1/4 ounce gold eagle (the entry above is a typo- not 1/2 ounce- sorry!).
