54321go - my husband decided to play one night and took a chance on this seller. He does not have huge feedback but this were smaller transactions. Hubby won a couple and quickly paid.

54321go noticed this, asked if we wanted combined shipping and promised a refund. I assumed the refund would be on PayPal but when it did not happen, kind of blew it off because it was only $1.25. Additionally, the seller had miscalculated the shipping and said he was willing to honor it.

WELLLL, the stuff came in (quickly), well packaged, and there was a nice 2000D Golden Dollar with a quarter inside!

Just wanted to share

I would try to do something similar, refund the excess postage, but I normally out it in their paypal account.

Yours is a nice bonus!

How did the other ebay stuff turn out?

In three ebay transactions I have received bonus coins due to late mailing. One was an extra Presidential mint set dollar. The second was the addition of three uncirculated Canada small cents from the 70s. The third were some clad proof Roosevelt dimes. Pleasant surprises from sellers with ebay stores and good references. One never knows, do one.

The items shipped were modern commems we missed out on and supplies so everything was as expected. I guess that I am so used to the robotic sellers that it was really nice to see someone take an interest in a buyer. I hate to say it but this is the first time in my ebay experience since I joined in May 2002 that a seller has sought to cultivate a relationship with me.
