Can you tell if it's copper/bronze or a lighter color metal? Is it heavy? Perhaps it's a lead seal of some sort? Just questions--I don't know for sure. Report this Post to the Staff
dougsmit Pillar of the Community United States 1549 Posts	Posted 04/27/2012 2:21 pm My guess is a lead seal, possibly Russian. The damage in the back looks like where a cord once passed through but the seal had to be broken to open the package. There are a lot of small letters on the obverse which might be clear in hand to someone who reads the alphabet (Russian was a guess but the letters are too small in the photo to be sure.
